Go over: utilizado para falar sobre como as pessoas recebem ou aceitam alguma coisa, como isto ou aquilo repercutiu ou vai repercutir.

• The speech went over well. [O dircurso foi bem aceito. O discurso repercutiu bem.]
• His proposal didn’t go over very well. [A proposta dele não foi muito bem aceita. A proposta dele não teve uma repercussão muito boa.]
• I’m glad it went over so well. [Eu estou contente por isto ter sido tão bem aceito.]
